GOOD NEWS FROM KATSINA STATE! The canonical erection of the Catholic Diocese of Katsina and the episcopal ordination of Msgr. Gerald Mamman Musa as its first Bishop were successfully, joyfully and solemnly done in Katsina today, 12.12.2023.Scores of bishops, priests and religous were present as well as hundreds of lay men, women, youths and children. The occasion marking the ordination of an indigenous Hausa Catholic priest as the first Catholic Bishop of the infant Diocese is a thing of very great joy. The brand new diocese situated in core northern Nigeria needs to be supported spiritually, morally, financially and with other material assistance. To God be glory and praise!
