Most Rev. Ignatius A. Kaigama, flagged off the Abuja Archdiocesan Tree Planting Campaign

Today, Friday 25th of August, 2023, the Archbishop of Abuja, His Grace, Most Rev. Ignatius A. Kaigama, flagged off the Abuja Archdiocesan Tree Planting Campaign, organised by the Justice, Development and Peace (Caritas) Commission at the Sacred Heart Spiritual Year Seminary, Mary Land, Passo, Gwagwalada, Abuja. Present at the event were: the Country Representative of Catholic Relief Services, Akim K. Kikonda, the Deputy Director of the Federal Ministry of Environment, Tijjani Ahmed, the Deans of the various deaneries and many other lay faithful of the Archdiocese. We call on parishes, pastoral areas, chaplaincies, schools, hospitals and homes to promote the culture of planting trees in order to protect and preserve our environment.
