*Interfaith symposium on religious harmony*
On Thursday, 13th January, 2021, the Embassy of Israel in Nigeria led by the Chargé d’Affaires, Mr. Yotam Kreiman, hosted an interfaith symposium on peaceful coexistence among different religions. The symposium tagged “Peace, Tolerance and Co-existence among different religions” featured a panel discussion that enjoyed the shared of experiences of the Chief Rabbi of Nigeria, Rabbi Israel Uzan, the Chief Imam of the National Mosque of Abuja, Imam Dr. Muhammad Kabir Adam, and the Catholic Archbishop of Abuja, Most Rev. Ignatius A. Kaigama. The discussions centered on seeking common grounds to tackle the challenges of religious extremism, sustainable development, and other issues of violence and conflict in Nigeria.
