That They May All Be One
To the glory of God, under the auspices of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Chapter, Christians across the FCT, gathered in solidarity to observe the week of prayer for Christian Unity (January 16 – 23, 2022), with the theme, “We saw the star in the East, and we came to worship Him” (Mt. 2:2). It featured moments of close encounter among different Christian traditions, faith sharing, exchange of spiritual gifts and common witness.
The prayer sessions were held at the Church of Assumption, Asokoro; Celestial Church of Christ, Northern Region Province Headquarters, Garki; The Apostolic Church, Dagba, Garki; Ekklesiyar Yan’uwa a Nigeria, Utako; Cathedral of Unity, Wuse Zone 3; and the National Christian Centre.
We continue to pray for greater unity of faith and more profound ways of living and working together according to the mind and heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
