CONFERENCE ON FAITH AND FINANCE IN KIGALI, RWANDA, 2025, ORGANIZED BY MISSIO INVEST
CONFERENCE ON FAITH AND FINANCE IN KIGALI, RWANDA, 18TH TO 21ST MARCH, 2025, ORGANIZED BY MISSIO INVEST.
Catholic Church leaders (Cardinal, Archbishops, Bishops, Priests Sisters, Brothers, Lay leaders and professionals, from Africa, Europe, and North America gathered in Kigali, Rwanda, under the aegis of MISSIO INVEST (a social impact body which aligns the principles of Catholic social teaching with key developmental goals), to review and discuss new ways of securing adequate resources to finance the churches’ social engagement such as schools, farms, hospitals, etc., that are operated by dioceses, religious congregations, parishes, etc, of the Catholic Church across Africa.
It was a worthwhile gathering in Rwanda, in the beautiful city of Kigali. Rwanda is a country that has gone through a lot in the past, but now it has so many positive things to share and teach the rest of Africa.
Thank you Fr. Andrew Small, OMI, for this great initiative of MISSIO INVEST, and for the wonderful results already achieved in eleven countries of Africa, by fostering a new form of sustainable economic development. May the Lord who has begun the good work in you bring it to fulfillment.
The ten-year success story of MISSIO INVEST has shown that it has great contributions to make and it can also make a phenomenal difference. We hope very fervently that MISSIO INVEST will enjoy the support of Church Organizations, Religious Congregations, Dioceses, Parishes, investment bodies, and other humanitarian organizations in the global North, (especially in Europe and America). If this happens, a lot more self-reliant projects will spring up for the socio-economic and pastoral good of Africa – a very promising future of our One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church.
