THANK YOU JESUS

I glorify and praise you JESUS for a generally peaceful and enjoyable Christmas in Plateau State and indeed Nigeria. I acknowledge with great gratitude JESUS your graciousness and goodness. Among other things you made possible during the Christmas period were the successful meeting in Jos with 230 unemployed youths; the interaction and sharing of Christmas goodies to over 300 widows, the Holy Mass and social celebration with 991 prisoners at the Jos prison; the Christmas celebration in the Archbishop’s compound with about 2,300 children from different religions and Christian denominations; visits to families especially to the sick members; the Christmas get-to-gether being planned for youths of our “Angwa” in Jenta, etc. All these little gestures made my Christmas very enjoyable and meaningful.

Thank you JESUS for showing us how to love beyond boundaries.

I ask for healing for those in Nigeria and elsewhere who during the period suffered violence and please, grant eternal rest to those who passed on.

In faith and with a high optimism I pray that 2019 will usher in a better spirit of harmony among Nigerians, greater socio-political and economic/infrastructural improvement which are the panacea for peace.
